The Rio Verde Natura e Cultura Agriturismo is located in Sasso Marconi and stands on an area of approximately 92 hectares of seedling land and orchard and the remaining part of woods, meadows and a hillside lake. Making the "agro-environment" the company philosophy, the company prefers "rustic" crops, to the point of thinking of the environment as a natural and intrinsic product of the company itself, which in 1999 obtained the AIAB-ICEA organic certification. The rural buildings of the agriturismo are a completely renovated farmhouse and an old stable, in the narrow and cool valley of the Rio Verde. The farmhouse is used for accommodation. Completely renovated, there are 6 bedrooms with bathroom with 12 beds. The rooms, 1 single, 4 doubles and one triple, are all different from each other both in colors and furnishings, strictly rural and authentic. In each of them there is a comfortable bathroom with large shower, satellite TV, wireless connection, minibar and water boiler for coffee and herbal teas, available to customers. The other building in green building with very high energy saving houses the gastronomic corner where you can appreciate the traditional cuisine at zero km, with genuine ingredients coming from the company or the territory, a teaching room for seminars and other convivial and , on the upper floor, 2 other bedrooms and a small apartment with kitchen. The courtyard is enriched by a pergola which is both an outdoor classroom and a place where you can taste the delicacies of Rio Verde, when the season allows it. Our guests have access to the common areas, the room with fireplace and all the outdoor areas: the park, the games and the sports routes (orienteering, cross-country skiing, archery - by prior arrangement). The staff is available to talk about the work and history of the company and the area and illustrate the various activities you can try your hand at. Languages spoken: English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Moldovan, Dutch. In summer the restaurant is also open at the following times: - Tuesday-Friday for lunch with menu of the day - Thursday-Saturday aperitif dinner from 6.30pm to 9.00pm with many tasty specialities.
